Astros' Josh Hader: Picks up win

A new team and a new role for Hader but the same results

Hader comes in with runners on and gets the job done

Houston Astros reliever Josh Hader picked up the win in his team's 4-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Saturday.

Hader entered the game in the eighth inning with two runners on and one out. He proceeded to strike out the next two batters he faced, earning the win.

It was Hader's second appearance since being traded to the Astros from the Milwaukee Brewers last month. He has yet to allow a run in his two outings with Houston.

Hader is one of the most dominant relievers in baseball. He has been named to the All-Star team four times and has won the NL Reliever of the Year Award twice.

The Astros are hoping that Hader can help them win their first World Series title since 2017. They currently have the best record in the American League.
