Gunshots heard inside Spring Hill Target

Witnesses report hearing multiple shots fired inside the store

On Saturday, June 11, 2023, at approximately 5:30 pm, the Spring Hill Police Department responded to a report of shots fired inside the Target store located at 5301 Main Street.

Upon arrival, officers located multiple shell casings inside the store

Witnesses reported hearing multiple shots fired and seeing people running from the store. Officers immediately secured the scene and began searching for the suspect or suspects.

The store was evacuated and customers and employees were directed to a safe location outside. No injuries were reported.
